The Wipro Foundation is inviting Expressions of Interest (EoI) from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working on computational thinking/computer science in the elementary grades in government schools.
What to expect?
- Funding support to run a structured CT/ CS program for school children
- Capacity building offerings on educational and organizational domains offered by experts and resource organizations
- Networking opportunities in the partners’ network
Eligibility Criteria
- They encourage expressions of interest from organizations who:
- Have a clear intention of working directly with the public education system, and have a long-term commitment to the field of computational thinking (CT)/ computer science (CS)
- Are preferably working in Bengaluru, or are open to initiate work in public schools in the city with a long-term view
- Have an existing team (or are open to building a team) that is fluent in Kannada
- Have a minimum of two years of experience working directly with children on CT/ CS through a structured year-long/ sustained engagement in school settings
- Have the experience of engaging with different stakeholders in the school system including teachers, headteachers and parents
- Have the experience of collaborating with other CSOs working in the same school(s)/ geography/ domain
