UN Women Programme Office in Serbia is inviting civil society organizations (CSOs) that have gender equality and women’s rights set as one of the organization’s goals in Statute and that are legally registered in Serbia and have specialized knowledge, expertise and track record of working on gender equality and women economic empowerment, to submit Project Proposal, including Implementation Plan and Results Based Budget to provide services associated with the UN Women requirement for Responsible Party.
UN Women plans to engage Responsible Parties, civil society organizations (CSOs) that have gender equality and women’s rights set as one of the organization’s goals in Statute (women’s CSOs), that are legally registered in Serbia and have specialized knowledge, expertise and track record of working on gender equality and women economic empowerment to work towards the achievement of the Result 3 of the “Support to Priority Actions for Gender Equality in Serbia” Project.
Funding Information
The proposed intervention size and budget request per project must fall between a minimum indicative amount of EUR 20.000 and a maximum amount of EUR 30.000.
Timeframe
The proposals are expected to cover a period of minimum 1 year/12 months to maximum 2 years/ 24 months.
Deliverables
It is expected that the selected Responsible Party delivers the following:
- Develop and implement pilot measures contributing to the economic activation and employment of women. These may include, but not limited to, the following: support to the employment of women in non-traditional areas; support to digital employment of women; support to social entrepreneurship for women; support to community services that facilitate women’s employment; support to women accessing employment opportunities; support to rural and urban cooperatives; support to the registration of women business; support to women’s employment in care services, etc.;
- Increase visibility and awareness in local communities on benefits of piloted measures and establish partnership for replication and scaling up of pilot measures (with local self-governments, private sectors, etc.);
- Ensure that at least 100 women are reached and benefit from performed activities.
