Enabel has launched the Promotion and Dissemination of Information on Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights Program aims to “strengthen socio-economic resilience, access to basic social services and social cohesion of vulnerable populations, in particular women, young people and marginalized people in Burkina Faso.”
The program is structured around four dimensions of resilience: socio-economic resilience, access to basic social services, strengthening social cohesion (conflict prevention and management) and planning and management of territories. A gender transformative approach, attention to the socio-economic inclusion of IDPs and host communities, and sustainable management of natural resources drive the program in a transversal manner.
Objectives
- The general objective of this call for proposals is: Communities and stakeholders in the territories – especially women, youth, IDPs and vulnerable groups – have inclusive, equitable and sustainable access to quality, flexible and innovative basic social services.
- The specific objective of this call for proposals is:
- Specific Objective: Empowerment Women, youth and adolescents, including men, IDPs and host communities receive quality information on SRHR that strengthens their decision-making power and their use of SDSR services (community and in health facilities).

Funding Information
- Any request for a subsidy under this call for proposals must be between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- Minimum amount: 250,000 EUR
- Maximum amount: EUR 305,612
Output
The area of resilience access to basic social services has three components including the health component which aims for three results:
- Output 01: More inclusive and equitable access to a broader range of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) services
- Output 02: Quality and flexibility of SDSR services reinforced
- Output 03: Strengthened inclusive community governance in health planning and management
Duration
- The initial planned duration of an action cannot be less than 18 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for subsidies, the applicant must meet the following conditions:
- be a legal person; and
- be a private non-profit actor or a foundation]; and
- be established or represented in the Central-East and/or Central Plateau Regions of Burkina Faso and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and not act as an intermediary.
