The U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka has launched the Small & Mighty Grant opportunity and invites all Civil Society Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and capable individuals to apply.
The Small & Mighty Grants Program is funded by the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka and is administered by Lanka Unites. This program promotes funding opportunities to smaller organizations and individuals with the capacity to lead and develop programs that may not have the infrastructure to compete in formal Notice of Funding Opportunity.
Thematical Focus
- The programs must be in line with the following themes;
- Programs promoting peace, democracy, reconciliation, and human rights through community engagement and shared understanding.
- Programs to build understanding of and promote good governance and the rule of law.
- This funding opportunity is not available for economic development projects.
Funding Information
- Most projects range from $5,000 to $515,000.
- Duration: The project implementation period to be 9 month
