The Novo Nordisk Foundation is seeking applications for its program entitled “Humanitarian Purposes” to improve the quality of life and living opportunities for vulnerable children and young people outside Denmark through education, general competence development, job satisfaction efforts, health and other relevant humanitarian interventions.
The fund is now calling for applications for humanitarian aid outside Denmark.
Grant Information
The aid is granted in the form of grants of up to DKK 750,000.
Criteria
- Support for humanitarian purposes can be sought by Danish established organizations and institutions.
- The Fund ensures that the organizations supported focus on the education and general skills development of organizations, that organizations are recognized and present publicly audited accounts.
- The Novo Nordisk Foundation also expects Applicant Organizations to have implemented a Code of Conduct as they guide and comply with ethical and humanitarian guidelines and standards.
- The Fund does not award support to:
- setting up and organizing theater performances, concerts, art exhibitions, film and recordings.
- salary or other support for personal education, including study trips.
- overhead, including ongoing operations and administration of institutions, institutes and organizations.
- operation and maintenance of sports clubs, youth clubs and other interest organizations.
- personal means for improving social conditions, recreational courses and courses.
- commercial purposes and sponsorship.
