World Bank grants US$145 million to Nicaragua to improve its Wellbeing

The World Bank has approved three loans totaling US$145 million to strengthen healthcare, improve roads and promote regularizing land titles in Nicaragua. It also approved the new 2018-2022 Partnership Strategy with that country. The new investments are financed by the International Development Association, the World Bank entity that helps the poorest countries. IKEA Foundation announces €3.5 million support for Women’s Empowerment Programme in India

The IKEA Foundation has announced a new grant for €3.5 million to support its partner PRADAN with its successful women’s empowerment programme in India which helps women living in rural communities in India to organise themselves into strong self-help groups.
