Every year on August 9th, the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples highlights the rights, cultures, languages, and traditions of indigenous peoples globally. This day aims to raise awareness about the challenges they face, including discrimination, land rights issues, environmental concerns, and social injustices.
This year’s theme is “Protecting the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Voluntary Isolation and Initial Contact.”
To celebrate this day, we are thrilled to spotlight various grant opportunities for global NGOs dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of indigenous populations.
