13 Encouraging Open Opportunities for Grassroots NGOs and CBOs

In recent times, numerous grassroots NGOs and CBOs have emerged centering on contemporary issues of importance such as ecology/environment, women empowerment, human rights, sharing of natural resources and many more.

These organizations are best known for their relief, educational, human rights, health, employment generation, and poverty reduction activities. They are generously contributing in the nation-building process through their intense campaigns, people’s mobilization programmes and effective networks.

The grassroots NGOs have the potential to participate in molding behavioral processes of communities for bringing long-term change. But the lack of funding hinders their good intentions and hard work.

While larger organizations or INGOs are able to tap into donor resources, such funds remain out of reach for grassroots NGOs and CBOs as they are unable to meet the high expectations of these donors. Therefore, we have developed a list of  open opportunities for grassroots organizations to apply.
