The purpose of the JRS APS is to empower USAID and its Missions to seek solutions to JRS-related challenges, to engage new and underutilized partners, to solve problems not adequately addressed by other USAID investments, and to offer USAID Missions and USAID/Washington Offices a mechanism through which such work can be innovatively accomplished with dedicated support and expertise from USAID Washington DRG Center’s JRS team.
USAID Innovation Grant for Socio-Economic Development in Education, Environment, Poverty and Others: Anyone from anywhere can apply!

Through a year-round grant competition, Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) sources proposals for innovations that address international development challenges and improve the lives of people living in poverty in developing countries around the world. DIV provides tiered funding to pilot, test, and transition to scale (i.e., grow to reach the highest number of beneficiaries possible) those innovations that demonstrate evidence of impact, cost-effectiveness, and the potential to scale.
DIV funds four types of grants. Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 grants follow a tiered approach that aligns the funding amount to the strength of the evidence of impact, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of the proposed innovation. Evidence Generation grants are reserved for rigorous evaluations of already scaled or scaling development solutions that lack sufficient rigorous evidence of impact and cost-effectiveness.

Pacific American Fund: Call for Concept Notes

The Pacific American Fund Year 3 Grants Cycle is now seeking concept papers from Pacific Islands-based organizations addressing: climate change adaptation; environment, biodiversity conservation, and natural resource governance; disaster risk reduction, and disaster resilience building; access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services. All grants are required to address gender equality, women’s empowerment, gender-based violence, and social inclusion.
Applicants must have established financial management, internal control systems, and policies and procedures that comply with established U.S. Government rules and regulations and cost principles and the Mandatory Standard Provisions for non-U.S. nongovernmental organizations. All potential awardees will be subject to a financial responsibility determination made by the Pacific American Fund that may include a pre-award survey and/or an audit.

Youth Initiative for Human Rights – Kosovo (YIHR KS) is pleased to announce an open call for non – governmental organizations to submit applications for the Small Grants Scheme within the Kosovo Youth Dialogue project supported by the USAID Kosovo.
The goal of this scheme is to financially support NGOs that work with different ethnic groups in supporting the reconciliation process in Kosovo. Additionally, through the program they want to strengthen cooperation between NGOs working with constituents from different ethnic backgrounds in Kosovo through implementation of joint projects. Projects that will be supported are those that have a focus on the issues of transitional justice, dealing with the past, peace building and reconciliation.
Scholarship for African Young Water and Sanitation Professionals

As part of its Capacity-Building Program for African stakeholders in the water, sanitation, and hygiene sector (AfriCap) funded by USAID, the African Water Association is awarding research scholarships to African Young Water and Sanitation Professionals.
Target beneficiaries are master students and engineer in the final year of their training. Each scholarship, with a maximum value of USD1,000 (one thousand US dollars), will make it possible to carry out a research work sanctioned by a scientific report on a theme related to the WASH sector.
