This World Environment Day, it’s Time for Nature! Celebrated every year on June 5, 2020, this day offers a global platform for inspiring positive change. With the world fighting from this pandemic, and most countries are under lockdown, it seems the environment has befitted a lot.
This year’s theme “Celebrate Biodiversity” is a concern that is both urgent and existential. The theme focuses on ‘time for nature’ and providing the essential infrastructure that supports life on Earth and human development. The foods we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the climate that makes our planet habitable all come from Nature. Now it’s time to wake up and build back better for People and Planet.
Therefore, for this World Environment Day, we have made a compilation of various funding opportunities that are open for NGOs and individuals who are working to protect and preserve our environment.
