    Hope For Humanity Africa (H4HA) is seeking for donors to fund its programs in South Sudan, but lacks funding.

    Hope for Humanity Africa is a charity, non-political, non-profit, non-religious organization created in 2012 and registered in 2018 with Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) in the Republic of South Sudan. We are committed to supporting and promoting better living standards at household level through integrated emergency and development programmes in Research, Human rights, Democracy, Law Reform, rule of law and Environmental protection, Peace building and Conflict transformation.
    Our concept of development is based on addressing human rights as the root cause of poverty, building capacity of communities to become self-reliant and using emergency assistance as a bridge for sustainable communities in the long run. We strongly believe in the importance of adaptive and action research as the basis of intervention in Protection, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), Health, Education, Peace building and Conflict transformation.
    Hope for Humanity Africa mirrors to addressing contextual community challenges by delivering human rights interventions through creating proactive communities that derive solutions to their challenges on their own. But where communities are unable to defend themselves, the organization responds through the use of legal mechanisms provided under the African Union legal regime, the regional legal regime and international legal regime through strategic litigation to address these challenges.
    Vision statement
    Promote highest standards of human rights, without any form of discrimination and respecting the entire range of cultural diversity of the South Sudanese people.
    To protect and promote fundamental human rights, freedoms, establish democracy, good governance, law reforms and rule of law.
    The aims and objectives of the Organisation are: –
    a) To strengthen the unity of South Sudanese under the Rule of Law, consolidate existing efforts, develop new initiatives to create awareness, respect for the Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights.
    b) To promote legal reforms and the harmonization of laws in the Republic of South Sudan.
    c) To establish, maintain relations, promote and foster relationships, co-operation, mutual support among the, Law Society and international organizations.
    d) To bring together Bar Council, Law Society and Lawyers throughout the country while respecting the diversity of legal and judicial systems and cultures.
    e) To support and defend the independence of Bar Council, Law Society, Lawyers, the Judiciary and Judges, in order to improve the administration of Justice, and foster the achievement of sustainable development in South Sudan.
    f) To develop and improve effective systems of legal aid and legal services to the public, promote, develop and advance the science of law and jurisprudence.
    g) To promote and protect gender equality and the participation of women lawyers and to advance women’s rights and social justice in Africa, and train organized forces on human rights and humanitarian law.
    h) To carryout peace and reconciliation programs among the South Sudanese Communities in order to instill the spirit of love and brotherhood amongst each other.
    i) To conduct Psychological counselling of those traumatized by the wars.
    j) To carryout awareness on HIV/ AIDS and support the victims of HIV/AIDs.
    k) To carry out a forestation and reforestation programs to fight the evils of climate change.
    l) To support the internally displaced and Refugees on livelihood in order to sustain and fight the evils of poverty.
    m) To promote and effect co-operation among all national and international organizations that have and maintain similar interests, aims and objectives, and to develop and carry out joint programs and projects with such organizations.

    Hope for Humanity Africa primary stakeholders are the communities and our secondary stakeholders are Parliaments, police, army, prisons that we work closely with, civil society, community based organisations, the South Sudan Bar Association and donors.
    Hope for Humanity Africa head office is located in Juba city, South Sudan.
    We have an independent non-partisan advisory board of professionals who have varied experiences and professional training and competencies in law and humanitarian work that has been instrumental in our work. We have a competent team of skilled staff leading our country programmes in South Sudan.
